Condition:
The Century Pen Company of Whitewater, Wisconsin operated from 1892 until the mid-1920s, making this slencil-style pencil holder over a century old. Stamped “Century Pen Co. Whitewater, Wis.”, it comes paired with a vintage Dixon’s pencil. The holder shows visible wear and surface marks consistent with age and use - evidence it’s been around the galaxy a few times.  It measures approximately 3 1/4" long when closed and about 5/8" wide. The pencil can be removed and fitted onto the end of the holder; it inserts about halfway. Best not to force it - no need to risk a structural anomaly in the holder’s body.
