Condition: 

This c. 1930's Conklin Endura fountain pen is in nice overall condition with some of the typical darkening to the pearl and black coloring and no cracks or personalization. The barrel and cap have some light surface scratches, small marks and age related wear.   The barrel imprint is clean and readable, the classic Conklin lever is clean with a clear patent imprint and operates, as designed. The cap's clip is firm and has a crisp Conklin and patent date imprint, the clip and cap bands are in nice condition with minimal wear, as shown.  The pen has been fully disassembled and cleaned, a new ink sac has been installed, it has been ink tested and it's ready to use.

  • The cap has been brush cleaned
  • Nib and feed ultrasonically cleaned 
  • New ink sac installed with 100% pure medical grade talc
  • The pen has been lightly polished
  • The pen has been water and ink tested
  • This pen is ready to use

    Fine -  This 14k Conklin Endura nib is in very good condition with crisp imprints and ample tipping material.  The nib provided a fine, crisp line, on the dryer side, during its ink test.  A photo of the ink test has been provided for reference.
