This Toledo manufactured Conklin Streamlined "350", often lumped in to the Symetrik family, is a less common pen from the 1930s.  The pen shows off the graceful lines, vibrant colors and interesting patterning that defined Conklin’s design language in that era.  This example retains its color beautifully, it has no cracks and no personalization to distract from the stunning material. The barrel stamping is clear and readable. The clip is firm, and the clip, cap bands, and lever present in lovely condition. The Conklin Toledo 14k gold nib has crisp imprints and has ample tipping material.  The pen has been cleaned, fitted with a new sac, and both water and ink tested, so it is ready to write without hesitation. And if the mottled pattern gives you the feeling you are staring at an old star map, consider it the pen’s way of inviting you to chart your own little corner of the universe.

  • Nib and feed have been ultrasonically cleaned
  • A new ink sac has been installed with 100% pure medical grade talc
