Condition: 
This circa 1926 Senior Long Conklin Endura fountain pen is in lovely overall condition, finished in classic polished black with sharp red annular line accents and gold filled trim. The pen shows no cracks and carries a personalization on the barrel. Both the cap and barrel display consistent, even coloring, and the barrel imprint remains clear and readable. The iconic Conklin clip is firm with a crisp Conklin and patent date imprint, and the 5 mm gold filled cap band presents nicely with only minimal wear. The original Conklin lever shows clear stamping and operates as designed.  The pen has been fully disassembled and cleaned, fitted with a new ink sac, tested, and is ready for ink. There is something quietly cosmic about the contrast of black and red under the light, like a distant star cutting through deep space, but here the only mission is putting words on paper.
