Condition:
The pen is in overall very good condition with no cracks or personalization. The cap and barrel have some very light surface scratches. The clip is firm and in nice condition, the clip and lever have just a touch of brassing, as shown in the photos. The barrel midsection has a crisp and clear imprint of the BLACKBIRD trade mark, BLACKBIRD SELF-FILLER, MABIE TODD CO LTD, MADE IN ENGLAND, and the barrel end of the pen has the model number 5277 (52 model 77 = red) imprint, all as shown.  On the top, to the rear of the cap is the imprint of BLACKBIRD, which is very clear.  The feed and section are also has the Blackbird imprint.  This is a really lovely pen, the photos do not do it justice.
