Condition:
This classic Esterbrook Dollar pen, which originally cost $1.50, is in overall very good condition. Its copper brown color remains vibrant across the cap and barrel, with no cracks or personalization. There is a quiet, almost celestial glow to the copper brown that makes you half expect it to beam messages to a distant planet. The cap shows some lateral scratches just above the band, and the barrel has a hint of gentle hand wear. The imprint is sharp and fully readable. The clip is firm, and the cap jewel bears a crisp ESTERBROOK mark. The pen has been cleaned, fitted with a new ink sac, and tested, it's ready for ink.
Restoration Work:
- The cap has been brush cleaned
- Nib and feed have been ultrasonically cleaned
- A new ink sac has been installed with 100% pure medical grade talc
- The pen has been tested
- The pen has been lightly polished
- This pen is ready to use
