This Esterbrook J Double Jewel fountain pen is in very good overall condition, showcasing a rich, even 'jet' black coloring throughout. No cracks, no personalization, just classic mid-century charm. The barrel and cap display the micro light surface wear typical of black pens. The barrel imprint shows slight wear from age but remains quite legible. The clip is firm and bright, holding steady like it’s guarding classified intergalactic documents. Both end jewels are clean, intact, and free of chips.  The pen has been cleaned, fitted with a fresh ink sac, tested, and is ready for writing.
