History:
Esterbrook launched the Safari line in 1957 to celebrate the company's 100th anniversary. The all plastic cap was only produced for one year and was later replaced by a thin metal version later on in production.
Condition:The pen is in overall excellent condition with no cracks or personalization. The pen does not appear to have ever been inked. The cap and barrel have virtually no wear - perhaps some micro surface scratches. The clip's imprint is clear and readable, the clip is firm and in nice condition, as shown in the photos. This is a very lovely looking fountain pen.
