History:
Esterbrook launched the Safari line in 1957 to celebrate the company's 100th anniversary.  The all plastic cap was only produced for one year and was later replaced by a thin metal version later on in production.
 
Condition:              
The pen is in overall excellent condition with a vibrant red coloring and no cracks or personalization.  The cap and barrel have light surface scratches. The clip's imprint is clear and readable, the clip is firm and in nice condition, as shown in the photos.  This is a very lovely looking fountain pen.
 
Restoration Work:
Nib and feed have been ultrasonically cleaned 
The pen has been lightly polished
