Condition: 
This classic Esterbrook SJ fountain pen is in overall very good condition with rich, red color and patterning, no cracks or personalization. The barrel and cap has some micro surface scratches.  The clip is solid and both jewels are clean with no chips. The barrel imprint is clear and readable, as shown.  The cap is very firm on this pen.  The SJ has been cleaned and a new ink sac installed.  The pen is ready for ink.

The nib and cap have been brush cleaned
Nib and feed have been ultrasonically cleaned
A new ink sac has been installed with 100% pure medical grade talc
The pen has been lightly polished
The pen has been water tested
This pen is ready for ink
