This classic Esterbrook SJ fountain pen is in overall very good condition, featuring a rich red color and patterning reminiscent of something you might spot drifting past a telescope on the way to Mars. There are no cracks or personalization. The barrel and cap show some micro surface scratches consistent with age and handling. The clip is solid, and both jewels are clean with no chips. The cap has its original marketing stickers.The barrel imprint has a hint of wear. The SJ has been cleaned and fitted with a new ink sac. The pen is ready for ink.
