Condition:             
The Eversharp desk set base is a fantastic version of the iconic Purina checkerboard given to employees in the 1950's for 5-years of loyal service.  The base is in very nice vintage condition with some light wear.  The pen holder is firm and rotates to the desired angle.  The base measures 4 3/4" x 3 3/16".  A neat piece of Americana.
