Condition:
This stunning c. 1930s Gold Bond Deluxe Stonite fountain pen was crafted in Chicago by the National Pen Company and remains in excellent condition. Its distinctive “bottle cap” ends on both barrel and cap add a touch of vintage flair to an already eye-catching design. There are no cracks or personalization, and only light surface wear is presen, typical for a pen of this era. The barrel imprint shows some wear but remains clearly legible. The section has a few small marks. The clip is firm with a crisp stamping, complemented by clean triple cap bands and a lever in similarly fine shape, all free of any major wear. The pen has been thoroughly cleaned, fitted with a new ink sac, and ink-tested. It’s ready to write - whether you're penning heartfelt notes, signing important documents, or decoding a surprisingly well-written message from a polite Vulcan diplomat.
Restoration Work:
- The cap has been brushed clean
- Nib and feed ultrasonically cleaned
- New ink sac installed with 100% pure medical grade talc
