Condition:This is a vintage Morrison’s The Tourist fountain pen, a ring-top model designed for convenient daily use and often carried on watch chains or chatelaines during the 1920s and 1930s. It features a black barrel with a classic chased pattern and gold-plated hardware. The gold-plated Morrison’s #5 medium nib has clear imprints, some plate loss, light pitting and a few scuffs from prior use. The cap band and filler lever also show some plating wear. The barrel imprint is clear and readable, adding to the pen’s overall appeal. Measuring approximately 4 1/8 inches capped (not including the ring top), this pen has been thoroughly cleaned, fitted with a new ink sac, and is ready for ink and writing. A compact and well-preserved example of a practical design from the golden age of American fountain pens.
