Condition:

The pen is in overall very good condition with nice color on the cap and barrel, there are no cracks or personalizations.  The barrel and cap have light surface scratches.  The clip has a clear stamp, the clip, and gold filled double cap bands are firmly attached and in lovely condition. The barrel imprint is clear and readable, as shown.  The pen has been fully disassembled, cleaned, a new ink sac installed, it has been water and ink tested.  The pen fills nicely and writes well.  This is a lovely example of a c. 1931 Duofold Jr.

Restoration Work

• The cap has been fully disassembled and cleaned

• Nib and feed have been ultrasonically cleaned 

• A new ink sac has been installed with 100% pure medical grade talcum powder

• The pen has been lightly polished

• The pen has been water and ink tested
