Condition:

This Vacumatic shows beautifully in layered tones of emerald pearl green with that classic stacked coin pattern. The celluloid is clean with no cracks and no personalization. The clip is firm, the cap jewel looks great, and the wide cap band still has plenty of shine.

The barrel imprint is crisp and clear, marked with a 1945 date code and fitted with the proper wartime filling unit. The pen has been cleaned, received a new diaphragm, and the section threads were properly sealed. It has been tested and performs exactly as it should.

There is a touch of otherworldly charm to the way this green shimmers, almost like a friendly visitor from some quiet moon drifting through your pen tray. Either way, it fills smoothly and is ready for ink.

Restoration Work:

  • The cap has been brush cleaned
  • Nib, feed and breather tube have been ultrasonically cleaned
  • A new diaphragm has been installed
  • Threads properly sealed
  • The pen has been lightly polished
  • The pen has been tested
  • This pen is ready to write
