Condition:
This Parker Vacumatic Debutante dates to 1943, a true wartime model with the streamlined design and practical build you'd expect from that era. It features the classic black laminated barrel, accented by a smooth, solid black cap. The narrow chased cap band shows some honest tarnish, and the blue diamond Parker arrow clip still holds firm, pointing ever forward like a good field commander. The barrel has excellent transparency, nicely showing-off the classic laminated design. The black cap jewel is intact, and the barrel imprints remain readable with age related surface wear and light scratches. No cracks, no personalization, just a solid vintage workhorse with plenty of charm. And yes, it’s been cleaned, fitted with a new diaphragm, tested, and is ready to go.
Restoration Work:
- The cap has been brush cleaned
- Nib, feed and breather tube have been ultrasonically cleaned
- A new diaphragm has been installed
- Threads properly sealed
- The pen has been lightly polished
- The pen has been tested
- This pen is ready to write
