Sheaffer Balance 500 Lever Fill Fountain Pen - Carmine Red
Condition:             
Nice overall condition with the classic Carmine color and striated pattern, there are no cracks, or personalizations.   The cap and barrel have some light surface scratches, with the only call-out being a small nick on the section. The barrel imprint is clear and readable, as shown.  The clip is firm and the clip, cap band and lever are all in nice condition, as shown. The visulated section has ambering.  The pen has been cleaned, a new ink sac has been installed, it has been water tested and it is ready to use.  Vintage Sheaffer's box has wear and writing on it, as shown.
 
Restoration Work:
  • The cap has been brush cleaned
  • Nib and feed have been ultrasonically cleaned 
  • A new ink sac has been installed with 100% pure medical grade talcum powder
  • The pen has been lightly polished
  • The pen has been water tested
  • This pen is ready to write
