Sheaffer Oversized Balance Fountain Pen - Jet Black

This oversized Balance pen is in lovely condition and ready for active duty on any writing mission. The cap and barrel have a consistent jet-black finish, as deep and smooth as the far side of the moon, with no cracks or personalization. Light surface scratches are present from prior orbits, but the barrel imprint remains crisp and legible. The clip is firm, and both the cap band and lever show only minor wear, as shown in the photos. The pen has been carefully cleaned, fitted with a fresh ink sac, and ink tested for reliable performance. Fully restored, this classic is ready to serve as your daily workhorse, whether you're charting the mundane or the unknown.

    Medium -  The 14k Sheaffer Lifetime nib is in nice condition. This very large nib has crisp imprints and ample tipping material.  The pen has been ink tested and the nib provided a smooth writing experience, this pen was a joy and a hard one not to keep in the fleet!   A photo of the ink test has been provided for reference.
