The pen is in overall very good condition.  This classic Statesman is fitted with a Triumph palladium-silver alloy nib (PdAg) it has a gold-filled clip and 3/8" wide gold-filled cap band.   The cap and barrel have some micro surface scratches. The clip is firm, the clip and cap band are in lovely condition, as shown.  The barrel imprint is clear and readable, as shown.  The pen has been cleaned, a new ink sac, a new o-ring and a new point seal have all been installed.  The pen has been water tested and it fills nicely.  The Sheaffer's case is in good vintage condition with som wear, light stains and marks.
