Condition:
This classic c.1946 Sheaffer Stratowriter ballpoint pen is in overall very good condition.   This is not a typical "click" pen, the rear actuator button is pressed and slightly turned clockwise to lock the tip in place.  To retract the tip, lightly push down on the button and make a slight counterclockwise turn to release it back into the barrel.  This gold filled pen has some micro surface scratches, hints of tarnish and some wear to the actuating button, the clip is firmly connected, the barrel has a crisp Sheaffer stamp, as shown.  The pen has been retrofitted with a 3d printed adaptor to allow for use with a modern D1 ink refill. The pen is fitted with a new black ink refill.  This super cool pen is ready to write straight out of the box!
