Condition:             
This first year (1947- "fat" size barrel) Sheaffer Triumph Sentinel DeLuxe lever filler pen is in very nice overall condition.  The classic black barrel, the only color the 1947 lever filler version of this pen came in,  has some micro surface scratches and one small scuff. The barrel imprint is clear and readable.  This fist year version of the pen has a brushed and polished stainless steel cap, gold plated cap band and gold filled trim (later pens had a shiney, polished cap).  The clip, cap band and lever are all in nice condition with a hint of minor wear. The visulated section has light ambering.  The Lifetime White Dot is on the barrel end of the pen and it has wear, but is visible.  The pen has been cleaned, a new ink sac has been installed, it has been water and ink tested.  Ths is a classic pen that writes great.
