Condition:
This Wahl Eversharp Gold Seal Personal Point fountain pen, produced in the late 1920s to early 1930s, is finished in vibrant lazulitic blue celluloid with black ends. The pen is in excellent cosmetic condition with no cracks, no personalization, and retains strong color throughout. The lever, barrel ring, and cap rings are all well preserved, showing only light wear. Its rollerball clip carries a crisp “Wahl Eversharp” imprint, with just a touch of plating loss near the top. The cap’s gold seal medallion is intact and attractive, further confirming its place in the premium line. The 14k Wahl Eversharp Personal Point flexible medium nib is clearly imprinted with ample tipping material. This model’s nib unit was designed to be swapped by dealers, giving buyers a “personal point” of choice that was innovative for its time. The pen measures 5 1/4" capped and 7" posted. It has been cleaned, fitted with a new ink sac, and is ready for ink and daily use. If fountain pens were constellations, this one would be sitting quietly in its own galaxy, glowing a deep lapis blue like a star you almost want to chart with a telescope instead of ink.
Restoration:
- The nib and feed have been ultrasonically cleaned
- New ink sac installed with 100% pure medical grade talc
- Pen has been lightly polished
- Tested
