The fountain pen-pencil combo is in overall nice condition with very interesting color and patterning, a chased cap band, and plated trimmings, there are no cracks or personalization. The cap and barrel have some very minor surface scratches. The clip is firm, the clip, cap band, lever and pencil cone have light wear and brassing, as shown in the photos. The pen side has been cleaned, a new iridium tipped nib installed and a new ink sac installed.  The pencil is loaded and its mechanism advances and retracts the lead.  This is a neat looking combo that would be an excellent addition to any WearEver collection.

Restoration Work:

  • The cap has been brush cleaned
  • The feed has been ultrasonically cleaned
  • New iridium tipped nib installed
  • A new ink sac installed with 100% pure medical grade talcum powder
  • The combo has been lightly polished
  • The pen has been ink tested
  • This pen is ready for ink
  • The pencil is ready to use
